Amour leopards are habitat in noth china,korea and Russia.Due to the fact of adapting to winter they usually likes to stay in those eras.And this makes it very easy to hunt during winter .Amur leopards are near to extintion and very less number of species have known to be surviving in Asia.

The Amur Leopards can live 10-15 years and they are very strong and fast predetors living in the wild.Their breeding season begins at the second half of the winter and 3 months after that season they give birth to 2-3 cubs With weight around 500g -700g . The cubs are born blind covered with thick,long hair.Skin speckled with small dark brown and black spots
They are threatened because of many reasons.The main reason is habitat loss ,deforestation and forest fire are known to be the causes .And also they have been hunted illegally for their beautiful skin for making coats worth more than $500.And their bones are used for making medicine too.These kind of reasons have made a terrible loss of the species.The Amur leopards have role in keeping the right balance of he nature and its our duty and responsibility to protect them .
Leopards are creatures from the cat family.And they are one of the five extant species in panthera genus.An they are gracefull,powerfull big cats closely related to tigers and lions.They are strong and comfortable in trees and they have good skill in fast running and hunting. They can run fast about 58 kph which makes it easy to catch it's pray.They have a life span about 12 - 17 years .Most of them a re covered in light coloured fur with striking pattern of dark spots. Because of adapted retinas they have a good vision at night.

Amur leopards are known to be the most endangered cats on earth.And they are listed as critically endangered on IUCN red list.In 2007 there were only 19-27 leopards estimated to live in Southasia .This leopards coat was found to be different from other leopards .It becomes very pale in winter and becomes very bright in summer in order to blend with the surroundings.And the fur grows for one to three inches to help it survive in cold during winter.They are very skilled hunters and they tend to hunt during the night.They're also good climbers and good swimmers and this is makes it more easy to catch the prey.their diets consists roe deer,musk deer, wild boar and hares .When hunting they avoid amur tigers cause they are more aggressive in the hunt.
