Golden Poison Frog

Description

Golden Poison Frog is also known as the Golden frog, Golden Poison Arrow Frog and Golden Dart Frog. This frog is native to the Pacific coast of Colombia. According to the conservation status of Golden Poison Frog it is an Endangered animal. The females lay eggs on the ground and the males transport tadpoles to permanent pools. The female frog is larger than the male frog. They feed on fruit flies, crickets and small insects. The average frogs in a group is from 4-7. It can live up to 6-10 years.

Distribution
